Dreaming of death: meaning and interpretation
The end that opens another form
The closing of an identity. It is not a forecast about literal life.
Symbolic reading
To die in a dream, or to see someone die, speaks of a psychic cycle ending: a role, a loyalty, an idea of yourself. It does not predict a real death. The coffin is the case of what can no longer stay alive in the same form. After the dream-grief there is usually another room.
Jungian key
The death-rebirth archetype dismantles an identification so the Self is not imprisoned in it. Resisting the inner funeral lengthens the grief; attending it turns it into a rite.
Let that version end with dignity. What you are afterward does not need the same name.
