The Ego
Dreaming of a house: meaning and interpretation
The rooms of the psyche
The inner structure: each room is a psychic function.
Symbolic reading
The house is a map of the ego. The façade is what you show; the kitchen, what you nourish; the cellar, what is stored in the dark; the attic, the old thing still overhead. An unknown room is a capacity you do not yet inhabit.
Jungian key
To explore the dream house is a descent through the layers of personality. The closed room is not forbidden by fate: it is waiting for a key the dream has already put in your hand.
Enter the room you avoided. There is the part of the house that is not yet yours.
