The Persona
Dreaming of a mirror: meaning and interpretation
The face that returns another face
Identity, the mask, and the part of you that you do not yet recognize.
Symbolic reading
The mirror does not confirm who you are: it shows whom you are willing to see. A broken, delayed, or foreign reflection marks a split between the persona — the social face — and what lives behind it. If the mirror does not return you, something in you has refused to appear.
Jungian key
The mirror image brushes the shadow. What disturbs you in the reflection is not a flaw to correct: it is an exiled trait asking to be integrated, not beautified.
Look at the trait you refuse in the glass. It is a door, not a sentence.
