Gestation
Dreaming of pregnancy: meaning and interpretation
What takes shape before it has a name
Something new is growing in you: a project, a stage, a part of yourself. It does not announce a real pregnancy.
Symbolic reading
Dreaming of a pregnancy, your own or someone else's, often speaks of something taking shape that cannot be fully seen yet: a project, a decision, a version of you. The dream womb is time and waiting. If there was fear, ask what scares you about this being born; if there was hope, ask what it needs to keep growing. It neither predicts a pregnancy nor rules one out: it speaks of what you are carrying inside.
Jungian key
In analytical psychology, dream gestation belongs to the cycle of the Great Mother: holding, nourishing and waiting for the right time. What is new in the psyche cannot be forced; it is tended until it can live outside.
Give what is growing some time. Not everything new has to be visible to be real.
