Dreams about eyes are almost always about seeing and being seen. Going blind, or being unable to open your eyes, often comes when there is something you are not yet letting yourself see, or when you feel you have lost perspective. Eyes watching you from the dark touch the fear of being judged. If you could suddenly see with unusual sharpness, something is about to become clear.
Jungian key
In the traditions Jung studied, the eye stands for consciousness and also for the Self, the wholeness that sees all of you. When a dream takes your sight away, it sometimes forces you to look inward; when it fills the scene with eyes, it asks whose gaze you have turned into your own judge.
